Welcome (Lemon Butter Cookies)

Hey! I've been contemplating on whether or not to create a brand new blog.
I won't bore you with the 'About me' stuff right now, which I'll probably post in another section later. :)
I'm not exaggerating but I can spend hours each day just browsing my favourite blogs.
Most of them are lifestyle, cooking and baking blogs.
In each of those blogs, I see a little piece of myself and I guess,
Why can't I do that to?
No I don't have a fancy camera (at the moment), no I don't have any viewers.
What can I write about? What do I want to write about?
That's the scary part.

But I'm not going to worry about that now.
The first step is starting.

Warm wishes,Venne

Ingredients

Biscuits
2 cups plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
125g butter
½ cup Chelsea Organic Sugar
¼ tsp grated lemon rind
1 egg

Method

Sift flour and baking powder into a bowl. Rub in butter with your fingertips until it resembles fine bread-crumbs.
Add Chelsea organic Sugar, and lemon rind.
Lightly beat egg in a separate bowl. Add to dry ingredients, mixing to form a stiffdough.
Turn dough out onto a lightly floured board. Roll out to 4mm thickness. Cut out heart shapes using different sized heart cutters then place biscuits on a greased or linedbaking tray.
Bake at 180°C for 20 minutes or until light golden brown. Transfer biscuits on to a wire rack and allow to cool.
